Not heard of Black Onassis - Why the hell not? It's the project of former Kasabian member Chris Karloff and NYC musician and good pal Nick Forde. Feeling a whole lot more liberated free from the ties of Kasabian, Chris has taken to collaborating with guest vocalists from the creative standpoint of, "a voice can change the whole dynamic of a song, and it's really freeing and feels limitless to write without being constrained by the vocal abillities or stylings of one person."
With that in mind, the duo's new single 'Brain', taken from the upcoming debut album 'Desensitized' (out on September 23rd) which features Ben Gautrey of The Cooper Temple Clause, has a brand new video to match it's rock meets space age pyschedelic sound. Telling a dark and enthralling tale of isolation and confinement, frequently interjected with shakey digital imagery, the video is trippy and unique, expressing Black Onassis' unconventionality through visual AND auditory ripples of electronic bliss.Good effort sirs!
