Conceived in a bedsit on Holloway Road, North London, but currently based along the south coast of England,
Beautiful Boy was founded by Singer Dane Etteridge, who began writing and demoing a handful of songs with the intention of starting a new band. Dane then teamed up with the common musical interest and intent of Simon Goldring (drums), Joseph Heaselgrave (guitar), Greg Bishop - (bass) and Tom Beck - (organ/keys) which leads us to the formidable quintet we have before us now.
Beautiful Boy's debut single 'Home' is an inviting introduction for these newcomers, who have only been in public existence since mid August of this year. With a painful, honest, vocal gruffness, bursts of ambient, cinematic swellings, anthemic melodies, simple guitar strums, and catchy lyricism, this is an influential indie/folk rock track that no doubt will solidly pave the way for a lot of well deserved attention towards Beautiful Boy's general direction in the very near future.
