We were introduced to alternating Australian/New York based indie-rock quartet, goodbyemotel almost a year ago when we shared our opinion of their EP 'People' over at our sister site, The Sound Of Confusion. One track taken from the EP has made a considerable mark on the Southern Hemisphere, and that's 'Set It Off' which has featured on the soundtrack of a Chrysler 300 TV advert aired in Australia as well as countless radio plays.
'Set It Off' is a hooky, anthemic, cinematic single that comes with an official music video directed and shot by Nicebike Productions. It features a simple, fun, natural set of clips following the band and their surroundings. Can we, in the UK, see goodbyemotel reaching mainstream, world domination? Hell yeah!
